According to the Leeds & 1000 Islands Municipal Heritage Committee, Rideau Air Photos Ltd, based in Seeley Bay, Ontario, operated from about 1957 to about 1961 under partners D.G. Willis and Jack Wyatt.

F. W. Woolworth Company first opened on Durham Street in Sudbury, Ontario, April 1, 1916. It moved to the corner of Elm Street and Durham Street in 1959 (where the old Post Office building used to be located). Woolworth's closed this store in 1994.
