Institutionele geschiedenis
The West Lorne Women's Institute was founded January 29, 1913 in the village of West Lorne, Ontario. Members completed several projects over the years such as building a Memorial Hall in West Lorne in 1930 in honour of those fallen in World War I. They began their 4 v. Tweedsmuir History in 1947 (v. 2 missing). This Institute branch is still active.
