The Craig A. Campbell fonds consist of research of threatened and endangered flora and fauna in the Region of Waterloo. Textual records consists of research related to conservation, botany, herpetology, mammalogy and ornithology, observational records, correspondence related to research and naturalist organizations, published articles and books, field notes, records created by Gerald W. Knechtel and Willard H. Schaefer. Graphic records include photographs and photograph negatives of amphibians, birds, plants, mammals, Environmentally Sensitive Areas etc. Fonds also includes cartographic records and botany diagrams.

The Dominion Button Manufacturers Ltd. fonds consists of records pertaining to the Shantz Button Manufacturing Company, a.k.a. Dominion Button Works (1872), the Jacob Y. Shantz & Son Company Ltd. (1891-1912) and the Dominion Button Manufacturers Ltd. fonds (1912-1935). These include price lists, plant and materials inventories, order books, general business accounts, production notebooks, dyeing recipes notebooks, salesmen's order notebooks, a work diary, salesmen's sample cards, photographs and greeting cards.

Fonds consists of pharmaceutical prescription books and "archive prescription transfer cases" from 1863 to 1951. Due to changes in laws and regulations governing the sale and reporting of pharmaceuticals, the records were organized to comply with such changes (e.g., narcotics prescriptions, and prescriptions for which dispensing fees were charged). The Shantz Foundry fonds consists of records pertaining to the P.E. Shantz Preston Agricultural Works (1875-ca. 1895), P.E. Shantz Manufacturer (ca. 1895-ca. 1910), P.E. Shantz Foundry (ca. 1910-ca.1950) and Shantz Foundry Ltd. (ca. 1951-1966). These include account books and ledgers, index books, a letter book, time books, product catalogues, agents' contracts, handbills, price lists, production records, photographs and a trade sign.
