Richard Burt Ward was born on April 9, 1892 and served as a Guelph Alderman from 1929 to 1930. In 1932, he moved to Aberfoyle and became active in the community there, serving as a member of the Puslinch School Board. Richard Burt Ward died in June 1965 and was interred in Woodlawn Cemetery, Guelph.
