The United Counties of Northumberland and Durham was incorporated under Canada Statutes 1849, Chapter 78, effective January 1, 1850.

This fonds consists of the official records of Northumberland and Durham County, including Census and Assessment Rolls, 1849-1870; Accounts Common School Fund, 1853-1861; Voters lists, 1854-1855; and Poll Books, 1816-1872.
