Trinity-St. Andrew's United Church in Brighton was established in 1930 upon the union of Trinity United Church (formerly Brighton Methodist Church) and St. Andrew's United Church (formerly St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church); for the most part, Trinity-St. Andrew's has been a single point charge, with the following exceptions: from 1965 to ca.1968, it also included Hilton; and from ca.1968 to ca.1984, it included Carman and Smithfield.

Fonds consists of circuit registers, ca.1855-1922, and Quarterly Board minutes, 1850-1903, of Brighton Methodist Circuit (pre-ca.1890, at various times, included: Brighton, Bate's, Ebeneezer, Mount Carmel, Smithfield, Presqu'Ile (now Presquile Point), Victoria, Hilton, Becker's, Montgomery, Breeze (now Breeze Community), and Carman; post-ca.1890, at various times, included Brighton, Hilton, Bethany, Shiloh, and Mount Olivet); records, including marriages, 1896-1916, of Brighton Methodist Church (formerly First Methodist Church), 1871-1917; records of Trinity United Church in Brighton (includes Brighton Methodist Church), 1896-1930; records, including baptisms, 1907-1968, marriages, 1906-1971, and burials, 1906-1968, of Trinity-St. Andrew's United Church in Brighton (includes Brighton Methodist Circuit and Trinity United Church; from 1965 to ca.1968, also includes Hilton; from ca.1968 to ca.1984, also includes Carman and Smithfield), 1904-1986; and Young Peoples' Union minutes, 1945-1956, of Hilton United Church.
