        History

        The Toronto Hospital Status of Women Committee (1991-1992) was established by TTH President Dr. Alan Hudson. The Committee was given the mandate to assess and make recommendations concerning work-related problems of importance to female staff and focused on four principal issues: employment equity, safety, day care and sexual harassment. The Committee held meetings, drafted policies, conducted workplace education seminars and a workplace survey. The Committee’s activities during 1992 are summarized in a report dated December 2, 1992. The Committee was chaired by Dr. Gail Robinson.
