This collection was obtained from Andrew H. Wilson, P.Eng., FEIC, Chair of the History Committee of Engineering Institute of Canada and Canadian Society for Manufacturing Engineers. Originally called the Canadian Society of Engineers in 1887 and renamed to the Engineering Institute of Canada in 1981.

Portée et contenu
The collection consists of items from Andrew H. Wilson and his involvement in national and international engineering organizations, and Mr. Wilson’s participation in the founding of the Canadian Academy of Engineering. Also included are reports and documents Mr. Wilson authored or used in various projects, for example the Chalk River project and the Economic, Science and National Research Councils of Canada.
