Biographical history
Sydney James Hershey was ordained in 1964. He worked in Waterloo Presbytery from 1986 until his retirement in 2007. Hershey died on Jun 28, 2007.
Custodial history
Records were donated to the Archives by Brian Hershey, son of Sydney James Hershey.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of one Personal Ministers Record (1964-1992) and three Personal Marriage Registers recorded by Hershey during his time as a minister in Waterloo Presbytery: 1964-1971, 1972-1975, 1975-1995. Personal Ministers record for 1964-1992 includes sermon records, baptismal records and funeral records. Personal Marriage Registers consist of ceremonies in the following churches:
