Administrative history
The first services were held at Bristol Corners in a photographer's gallery in 1870 by the Rev. R.D. Irvine, Assistant Priest at Clarendon. By the following year, plans to build a church at Bristol Corners were under way and in 1874, Mr. W. Craig donated land for a church. The first service at St. Thomas', Bristol Corners was held on Christmas Day 1875. St. Thomas' was also called "the Little House on the Rock." The church roof was replaced in the summer of 1998. After several changes of parish boundaries, St. Thomas', Bristol is now included in the parish of Clarendon.
