Administrative history
The congregation of St. Michael and All Angels, Bel Air Park was formed in September of 1961 with the services being conducted at Bel Air Public School. A chapel was constructed for weekday use by the following year. The sod was turned for St. Michael's Church in 1964 and the building was constructed soon after. The congregation began worshiping in the new church on September 26, 1965 and Bishop Ernest Samuel Reed dedicated St. Michael and All Angels, Ottawa on December 21st of that year. In 1986, the 25th anniversary of the congregation was celebrated. The Church of St. Michael's and All Angels was consecrated on December 16, 1990 by Bishop E. K. Lackey.

Fonds consists of records of the activities of St. Michael and All Angels congregation in Ottawa, Ontario. It includes vestry records, 1961-1995, records of committees and organizations including parish council, financial records, property records, special services and events material, correspondence, historiography, service bulletins, newsclippings, newsletters, architectural drawings, and photographs.
