    Administrative history

A congregation began gathering at James Caldwell's house in Bristol township in 1864. On April 7, 1868, St. Luke's Church, Caldwell was built on James Caldwell's lot and was opened for use the same year. The building was consecrated in 1874. In 1969, Caldwell was no longer listed as a congregation and five years later St. Luke's, Caldwell was secularized by the Ven. M.K. Roberts, Archdeacon of Western Quebec. The church building was sold in 1975.
