Administrative history
In 1900, the Anglican Church received an offer of a lot in Campbell's Bay on which a church could be built. The Mission of Campbell's Bay was established by 1903 - primarily for ministering to the lumber camps on the Coulonge and Black Rivers. Services were held in the Orange Society Lodge, Campbell's Bay and at the outstation of Davidson. Construction of a church was begun in 1903 and Bishop James Carmichael laid the cornerstone for St. George's, Campbell's Bay in July of the same year. The rectory was renovated by 2001. St. George's is part of the Parish of the Northern Pontiac.
