History
Land in Mattawa was acquired by the Rev. C.V. Forster Bliss in 1882 and St. Alban's, Mattawa was constructed shortly thereafter. In 1953, a parish hall was built. The rectory was sold by 1998. From 1997-2000, services were conducted by the Anglican Base Chaplain from CFB North Bay and responsibilities were shared by members of the congregation. St. Alban's is part of the three point parish of Mattawa.
