Sombra Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925, and included Sombra, Wilkesport (now Wilksport), and Duthill. It was discontinued ca. 1937 when Sombra joined Port Lambton Pastoral Charge, and Duthill and Wilkesport joined Calvary Pastoral Charge. Sombra United Church was established in 1925.
