Administrative history
The Junior Farmers Association’s origins date back to 1913 when a series of Short Courses of four to six weeks duration were developed by the Department of Agriculture. At the close of these courses local Junior Farmer Associations were formed. In 1921 by a vote of county Council, Simcoe County was divided into two sections for Agricultural Representative work.
