Dear Father Mother + Sister,
I have a few spare moments so thought I would write again even though it may be short. I was down to Grayshot the other night + made arrangements for photos. I am enclosing the bill. They are sending these photos. Paid for two of them + third is on approval. If you like the one of me sitting on stool you can keep same + forward them five shillings for me. If you desire any more you will be able to reorder them. I also sent you the fountain pen + my two

rings in registered parcel on Tuesday + hope you will receive same. Kindly let me know. We have not left as yet but were told this morning that we will be leaving tomorrow morning. I am to go on a sniping course as soon as we get to France. This afternoon we go to the trenches to see a crater blown up. They are going to discharge over 1000 lbs of explosive. Wish you could be here to see it. Have not heard any further news re Lloyd. Send all mail to present address until otherwise directed. Will have to close. Hope you are all well.
Sheldon.
