History
Seneca Archives and Special Collections was established in 2015 at Seneca's Markham Campus (now known as Seneca International Academy). The Archives and Special Collections service moved from Markham Campus to Seneca @ York in 2020. The main repository storage, office, reading room and other spaces are located at Seneca @ York. The service also has storage space and special collections and exhibitions located at Seneca's Newnham Campus and King Campus.

Seneca Archives and Special Collections identifies, preserves, and makes available for use the documentary heritage of Seneca Polytechnic (formerly Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology).
This service collects inactive records of long-term value produced by Seneca, as well as the records of individuals and organizations closely associated with Seneca.
Records in our collection include, but are not limited to text, moving images, sound recordings, graphic material, architectural drawings, publications, objects, and more.
Our resources are open to all members of the Seneca community and external researchers for the purposes of research, teaching, publication, or just for general interest.
