Seaforth Pastoral Charge (also knnown as Seaforth: Northside-Cavan Pastoral Charge) was formed in 1962 when McKillop Pastoral Charge was discontinued and Cavan Church in Winthrop, formerly from that Charge, joined with Northside Church in Seaforth
Cavan United Church was established in 1925, formerly Presbyterian
Northside United Church in Seaforth was established in 1925; formerly Methodist, the first church building was constructed ca. 1858 in McKillop, the congregation becoming its own charge in 1864 and relocated to Seaforth, Ont.
