Sandy House served in World War Two as a radar mechanic in India and was an amateur photographer.

Fonds consists of 16 reels of amateur motion picture film created by Sandy House 1941-1980. The footage depicts London, England and India during World War Two, as well as postwar travel footage in Britain. As well, various festivals and other events are depicted in locales including New York state, Detroit, St. Catharines, Ontario, the Niagara region, and Toronto. The fonds also includes 3 audio cassettes and 1 audio reel, all of which contain music and narration for the India films.
