Samuel Sherwood (1754-1824) was a merchant in Brighton, Ontario.

Scope and content
Fonds consists of one volume which is a handwritten cash book kept by Samuel Sherwood. Sales of goods from 1784 to about 1811 are recorded. Various members of his family also wrote letters and notes, dated 1804, 1809, and 1899, in the book. The book also lists birth and death dates of Samuel Sherwood, his wife, and their descendants, the last entry being for the death of Charles Wesley [Sherwood] in 1924.
