Administrative history

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (Maple, Ont.) was organized in 1829 when a number of inhabitants of the township of Vaughan decided to build a church. The Rev. P. McNaughton was inducted as the first minister in 1832. An early church structure was built about 1832. In 1862, during the ministry of the Rev. Donald Ross, new church building was opened. The congregation of St. Andrew’s (Maple, ON) voted to remain with The Presbyterian Church in Canada during Church Union in 1925.
