Plainfield Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925; formerly Methodist; it included Plainfield, Bethel Church and Zion Church in Thurlow Township, Mount Pleasant, and later Roslin; the Bethel and Zion churches amalgamated to form Bethel-Zion Church; the pastoral charge was discontinued ca. 1967 when Plainfield and Bethel-Zion closed, and Roslin and Mount Pleasant moved to other pastoral charges.
