Rosalee Auger, of Port Arthur, Petty Officer Wrens (Royal Canadian Navy), was appointed as secretary to Esmund Butler, the Queen's press secretary, and accompanied Queen Elizabeth on her royal tour of Canada in 1959.

Scope and content
The Rosalee Auger fonds consists of correspondence, an arrangement book and schedules for the 1959 royal tour; newspaper clippings regarding Auger's role; and two magazines (The Legionary, Jan., 1960 and Weekend Magazine, Royal Tour Special), all of which are contained in one series.
