        While Robert Pascoe listed his date of birth on his First World War Attestation Paper as September 4, 1891, the British Civil Registration Birth Index recorded his birth in Liskeard, Cornwall, England between October and December 1890. A family member also confirmed his day of birth as November 20, 1890.
