        History

The Juvenile Orange Lodge (now known as the Junior Orange Association) was founded in Manitoba in 1915. Pride of Langemark Juvenile Orange Lodge #6 was formed on December 2, 1927. Affiliated with Langemark Loyal Orange Lodge #2625, Pride of Langemark was for boys only. Members of Pride of Langemark met twice monthly at the Orange Hall (388 Clarence Street) and occasionally went on social outings. Members of the Juvenile Orange Lodge, like their adult counterparts, were called to be observant Protestant Christians and to be loyal to Queen and country. Values such as kindness, bravery, temperance, and fairness were instilled by the Guardian (the adult lodge’s representative).
