Scope and content

Series consists of surveyors’ plans, site plans and maps of various TGH properties in the City of Toronto, and architectural drawings of TGH buildings at both its Gerrard St. and College St. sites.

File 33.0.30 contains copies of plans and drawings ([185?]-1910) from the collection of the Metropolitan Toronto Reference Library. File includes photographs (28.5 X 35.5 cm), photostatic positives (28 X 43 cm) and photostatic negatives (28 X 39 cm) of architectural drawings of TGH Gerrard St. site by William Hay, Architect [185?] and by Gundry and Langley, Architects (1864-1866); and photographs (28 X 35.5 cm) of architectural drawings of “Central Block”, TGH College St. site, by Darling & Pearson, Architects (January 1910).

Immediate source of acquisition

With the exception of the file noted below, the records in this series were transferred to the Archives in February 1988 from the Office of the President. The records in file 33.0.17 were transferred to the Archives in January 1988 from the Senior Consultant, Plant Engineering and Maintenance.
