Scope and content
Series consists of documents regarding military recruitment trips in Alberta in 1941, as well as collection of pictures taken at the Military Attachés Conference. There are also large photographs of General Charles Foulkes, Air Chief Marshal Frank Robert Miller, Lt-Gen Jean V. Allard, and General Frederick R. Sharp. As well, there is a large scrap book containing pictures of the Currie Barracks at Canadian Force Base Calgary, the parades and presentations made by the “A” Company Edmonton Regiment, pictures of “D” Day, the Mullberry Harbour, and the enemy’s defences in northern France as well as various military documents received by Robert Lewis Raymont.
