        The Peerless Machine and Tool Company was founded in 1927 and incorporated in 1928. It was located on Duke Street in Guelph, Ontario. The company designed and manufactured custom machinery, dies, tools, jigs, fixtures and presses for industry and manufacturing. Blow-Thatham was the sales and marketing arm of the company, which specialized in presses, re-built or built in-house. In January 1994, the name of the company was changed to 28494 Ontario Limited. The company was dissolved on March 31, 2000 under the terms of the Business Corporations Act.
