Administrative history
The Parish of Perth consists of two churches. Services were held in Perth from 1819 in the house of John Adamson and St. James', Perth was built in that year on land appropriated by the government for that purpose. Services were held at the local schoolhouse in Drummond by 1897 and St. Augustine's was built there in 1898.
