In addition, Steele was a fellow of both the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and the Royal Institute of British Architects. In 1960, he served as President of the Ontario Association of Architects.

In addition, architects, Stamford Warrington and Earl C. Morgan were associated with the firm.

Notable projects of the firm of Page & Steel are: Garden Court Apartments, Leaside, 1939-1950; Toronto Teacher's College, Toronto, 1953; the Ontario Workman's Compensation Board headquarters, Toronto, 1958; Regent Park South Housing Development, Toronto, 1956-1957; the O'Keefe Centre, Toronto, 1955-1960; and Commerce Court office development, 1966-1974.

The firm has received many Canadian and international commissions for some of the largest developers in North America. After Mr. Page's death and Mr. Steele's retirement, the company continued to operate on high quality designs and projects.
