        This fonds consists of photographs and a small amount of textual records documenting the Mehr, Greisman and Brenner families. The photographs include images of the Mehr family and friends, including individual members of the Greisman and Brenner families, and images of the Lady Ellis Shops in Toronto, Stratford, Ottawa and Windsor. The textual records include Ethel Mehr's confirmation diploma from Holy Blossom Temple as well as a personal letter and a Bishop Strachan domestic science workbook.

        Gays of Ottawa fonds

        The fond consists predominantly of correspondence, reports, newsletters, minutes of meetings and other documentation relating to the history of the Gays of Ottawa during 1971-1986. The materials reflect the political action under taken by the organization on a local and national level. Materials also include those of the National Gay Rights Coalition (NGRC) of which Gays of Ottawa served as the national coordinating office during the mid 1970’s. Gays of Ottawa’s involvement with the Coalition for Gay Rights in Ontario (CGRO) is also shown through the number of documents held relating to the provincial group.

        The series consists of documents about the history and development of the Faith and Sharing Federation. This includes documents related to first retreats and the incorporation of the Faith and Sharing Federation as a registered charity. There is also material on the history and development of the regional groups. This includes correspondence from the regional delegates about the organization of annual retreats and meetings, 1972-1976, lists of attendees and representatives and newsletters detailing the activities of the regions. There is also a collection of annual reports for the period 1995 to 2002. There is also material on the organizational structure of the Faith and Sharing Federation and the North American Committee including a practical guide to the retreats and personal reflections on the Faith and Sharing movement by members of the North American Committee.

        This series contains records related to the Ottawa, Ontario houses and ministries of the Sisters of St. Joseph in the Pembroke diocese. The records contain annals, correspondence, photographs, and records related to renovations and property purchase such as invoices and a deed for the Wilbrod Street building. The annals are for Emmaus (Argyle Street) house, the Hull house, Laetare house, the Lebrun Street house, and the Wilbrod Street house. The Wilbrod Street house and the Lebrun Street house files contain a small number of photographs of the Sisters who lived at these houses as they took part in daily life, special events, and trips. Another file for Wilbrod Street contains a large number of photographs that were removed from an album, and depict the building, Sisters ministering in the community, and daily life. The series is interesting in that it shows experiments the Sisters undertook in community living and in vocation work.
