Dr. Oswald Charles Joseph Withrow (1878-1946) was a medical doctor and author who was involved in the fields of psychiatry, obstetrics, gynaecology, sex education and prison reform.

Fonds consists of the personal records of Oswald Charles Joseph Withrow. Fonds includes his diaries, written 1908-1909, 1912, 1930-1932, 1934 and 1939 as well as his personal correspondence, 1927-1944. Fonds also contains transcribed copies of his published works, Shackling the Transgressor, Silver Islet, and Poems from Prison.
