Old Windham Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925, formerly Methodist; it included Lynnville, Vittoria and Round Plains. Townsend Methodist Circuit was active from at least 1878, and included Mount Zion, Rockford, Mount Hope, Nixon, Walsh, Round Plains, Lynnville, Bethelehem Church in Windham Township; it was discontinued when the United Church was formed in 1925. Old Windham Methodist Church was established ca. 1820 as a Methodist Episcopal Church; it joined the United Church in 1925. Walsh Methodist Church was established ca. 1856; it joined the United Church in 1925. Lynnville Methodist Church was active from at least 1884; it joined the United Church in 1925. Old Windham United Church was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. Lynnville United Church was established in 1925, formerly Methodist.
