Elginburg Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925, formerly Methodist; it included Elginburg, Kepler, Glenvale, and later Murvale; by 1965, Kepler was no longer part of the pastoral charge; it was discontinued ca. 1969 when Murvale and Glenvale closed and Elginburg became part of Odessa Pastoral Charge. Elginburg United Church was established in 1925; formerly Methodist. Murvale United Church was established in 1925; it closed ca. 1969. Glenvale United Church was established in 1925; it closed ca. 1969.
