The OCI/PMH Pension Committee was formed in 1995 after the dissolution of the OCI/OCTRF Pension Committee on March 31, 1995. The committee's first meeting took place September 20, 1995.
The role of the OCI/PMH Pension Committee was to advise OCI/PMH Board on all matters relevant to the investment and management of their pension fund and the benefits provided by their Pension Plans. Some of the functions of the committee were as follows: to advise on the appointment of a consultant for the Plans, to advise on the appointment of investment managers. To advise on the administration of services for the Plans, and to review the Plans at intervals and recommend changes where necessary.
The OCI/PMH Pension Committee met quarterly and reported to the Finance Committee of the Board through the Committee Chair.
The OCI/PMH Pension Committee members included: at least two Board members (one served as the committee chair), a senior member from Financial Services, a senior member from Human Resources, one representative from Research, one representative from the Medical Staff Association, one representative from Nursing, one representative from staff at large, and others as may be determined at a later time. At least one of the members of the committee shall also be a member of the Budget & Finance Committee.
K. Rotenberg was chairman of the OCI/PMH Pension Committee from 1995 to 1997.

Subseries consists of minutes of meetings of the OCI/PMH Pension Committee, a subcommittee of the Finance Committee of the Board. The minutes were kept in one binder, within which, minutes had been arranged in reverse chronological order. Files have been arranged chronologically by date.

The files of the OCI/PMH Pension Committee (1985-1995) were transferred from the office of the Secretary to the Board to the Archives February 11, 1998 and received by the Archives April 7, 1998.
