Administrative history
North Mornington Presbyterian Church (Ont.) was established around 1856 when Presbyterian services were begun in what was then known as Gamble Settlement. In 1861, the Rev. Thomas Lowrie was inducted into the charge of West's Corners (Milverton) and the Gamble Settlement (North Mornington) and the first session of the North Mornington congregation was constituted. A church building was opened in 1862. North Mornington was linked with Burns Church, Milverton from 1860 to 1886. In 1886 North Mornington became a separate charge. In 1930 the two congregations were linked again. The congregation voted to remain Presbyterian at the time of Church Union in 1925.
