Notice biographique

Norman Bruce "Nipper" Scott was the son of Thomas Hunter Scott, the owner of the Scott Studio in St. Thomas, He was born in St. Thomas on December 28, 1898 and died in 1982.
On leaving high school, he joined the Imperial Bank of Canada in St, Thomas as junior clerk. He worked for a year at the bank before he decided to travel to Toronto in 1917 to make application to join the Royal Flying Corps. He was accepted, and spent two years with the Royal Flying Corps, Royal Air Force, spending eight months of that time in a front line squadron in France. He returned home in 1919 with the rank of Flight Commander.
