Scope and content
Trapped by Greenland Ice Flows, the above Nazi trawler was found by U.S. Coast Guardsmen during 10 weeks of action only a few hundred miles from the North Pole which led to the capture of another trawler, scuttling of a third, capture of 60 Germans and destruction of two Nazi radio-weather stations. Huge piles of ammunition and supplies were seized. Coast Guard Cutter Northland can be seen in background.
