Administrative history
The position of General Counsel and Director of Medical/Legal Affairs was first listed under the Executive Committee in the TTH Annual Report for 1996. Prior to the combination of Medical and Legal Affairs in one office, there was a position for Senior Vice President, Medical Affairs which was held as late as 1992 by Dr. W. McIlroy.
The General Counsel and Director of Medical/Legal Affairs reported directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer. This department also oversaw Risk Management as early as 1994.
The position of General Counsel and Director of Medical/Legal Affairs for TTH was held by Ms. Bella R. Martin from [1994]-1999.
