Mattawa Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925; it included Mattawa, Emmanuel Church in Papineau Township (until ca. 1927), and from ca. 1943, Brule, Rutherglen, and Eau Claire (Calvin).|St. Andrew's In the Pines United Church, located at 480 Valois Drive in Mattawa, was established in 1925, formerly a union church. St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Mattawa was organized in 1882. In 1917, the Presbyterian Church joined the Methodist Chuch in Mattawa, which had been established ca. 1882, to form Mattawa Union Church. The Mattawa Union Church joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.|Mount Pleasant United Church, located at 1050 Trunk Road in Rutherglen, was established in 1925, formerly Presbyterian. It was originally part of Rutherglen Pastoral Charge, until it joined Mattawa Pastoral Charge ca. 1943. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.|Brule United Church was established in 1925. It closed ca. 1958.|Calvin United Church in Eau Claire was established in 1925; it closed ca. 1969
