The Loyal Orange Association is a Protestant fraternal society that has been active in Canada for over 200 years. The Association's aims have included the promotion of the Protestant concept of the Christian religion; a united Canada with a strong central government where all provinces are equal; and a constitutional Monarchical system of government. The Association also supports various charities and promotes patriotism. Since World War II, the membership of the Association has steadily declined.
