Fonds consists of 5 volumes of memoirs of Squadron Leader Kenneth F. Pettis covering his service in both the First World War and the Second World War. Books one to three cover his service as a Private in the Canadian Corps Cyclist Battalion during the First World War. Books four and two cover his service as a liaison officer for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) during the Second World War. Books one through four are entitled "Strange Roads Go Down: The Story of Fifty Years." The books provide details of the life, training and service of Pettis in the Canadian Cyclist Corps.
