    Administrative history

Kanados Lietuvių Bendruomenės (KLB) Windsor apylinkė (Lithuanian Canadian Community Windsor chapter) was established as the regional chapter of the Lithuanian Canadian Community (LCC) for Lithuanians living in the Windsor, Ontario area. On 1950-4-23, Lithuanian’s living in the Windsor area gathered to form Windsor’s Apylinkės Laikinasis Organizacinis Komitetas or ALOK (Provisional Chapter Organizing Committee). At a general meeting of the region’s Lithuanians held on 1952-12-14 organized by the Windsor LOK, the Windsor LCC chapter was officially formed and its first executive was elected. The Windsor chapter hosted Kanados Lietuvių Dienos (Lithuanian Canadian Days) in 1956 and 1962. While there were still Lithuanians living in Windsor in 2009, the St. Casimir Lithuanian parish in Windsor was closed on 2009-7-26.
