Biographical history
John (Jack) Austin (1930-2014) was born to Fred Austin and Hazel (nee Wilson) on 2 Apr 1930. He had two brothers, Ted and Ernie. John married Lorna Eley, and the pair had two sons, Don and Larry. He passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital on 6 Nov 2014.

Item is a gold-plated tie clip featuring the emblem of General Foods (Kraft) and three small rubies. It was given to John Austin to commemorate 25 years of service working at the Kraft plant in Port Hope, and later, Cobourg.
