    Notice biographique

James Bruce Coleridge, son of John Coleridge and Margaret Adelaide Losee, was born on 27 October 1878 at Ingersoll, Ontario. He became a physician, settling his practise in Ingersoll, Ontario, and for the years 1912-1913 served as mayor of Ingersoll.

J.B. Coleridge was twice married, firstly to Ethel Mary Jackson on 10 September 1902 in Etobicoke Township, and later, after her death, to Frances Celcilia Aletter on his thirtieth birthday, 27 October 1908, at Stratford, Ontario. The couple lived on King Street in Ingersoll, where their daughter, Helen Margaret Frances Coleridge, was born in 1909. J.B. Coleridge died of acute Bright's disease on 8 July 1914 at Woodstock, Ontario.
