General note
An intelligence report is a specific report of information, usually on a single item, made at any level of command in tactical operations and disseminated as rapidly as possible in keeping with the timeliness of the information. Also called INTREP.
General note
The Current Intelligence Information Summaries were generated by the Director General Intelligence (DG Int) and were as up-to-date as production and distribution arrangements allowed. They were furnished with the direct understanding that: they were provided by the Deputy Chief of the Defence Staff for official use only; and that classified paragraphs (where applicable) would not be released to the public or declassified without the specific approval of DG Int.
