This collection consists of correspondence received by Dr. Marion Hilliard prior to a summer trip overseas on the Europa. The collection also contains a portfolio believed to belong to Dr. Hilliard. The correspondence, which includes note cards and letters, contains well wishes for the trip. The correspondence is undated, but is addressed to Dr. Hilliard, and so is assumed to be from between when she graduated from medical school in 1927 and her death in 1958.

The fonds consists of hospital newsletters, press releases, photographs, slides, speeches, patient handbooks and brochures, newspaper clippings, posters, scripts, working files, subject files, biographical files, histories of the hospital, promotional material, hospital floor plans, special event material, video recordings of hospital events and audio recordings that were created as part of a hospital-wide oral history project in 1982.

The fonds also contains a series of scrapbooks created by hospital’s public relations and maintained from 1923-1978. The scrapbooks include newspaper clippings, invitations, programs and photographs.
