These photographs depict some of the firm lawyers and secretarial staff, including David Menzel, James Aitchison, J.D. Pickup, J.W. Pickup, B.R. MacKenzie, W.B. Williston, J.F. Robertson. Photographs are accompanied by typewritten expanatory notes detailing the nature of the firm Christmas parties and identifying the subjects in each photograph.

Most of the clippings relate to Fasken's fatal automobile accident in 1944. Also included is correspondence, a copy of an October 1944 Excelsior Life newsletter, and a Alex Fasken memorial pamphlet published by Excelsior Life after his death.
