Part of Blenheim-Dumfries Farm Women's Club

This series contains annual reports created by the members of the Blenheim-Dumfries Farm Women's Club. These reports were all created after the dissolution of the United Farm Women of Ontario, the organization that created the club. Therefore, these records were created for the use of the Blenheim-Dumfries Club, and were not sent off to a central organization. The Annual Reports themselves cover a majority of the years between 1948 and 1980, though several years are not represented. The reports present a summary of the Club's activities over the previous year. This includes the number of meetings held, the amount of money raised for different causes, the various events organized over the year and the different activities of the members. The series is arranged chronologically.

Part of Blenheim-Dumfries Farm Women's Club

This series consists of two small accounts books kept by the Blenheim-Dumfries Farm Women's Club between 1941 and 1945. It was during this period that they would transition from being the Richwood Branch of the United Farm Women of Ontario (The UFWO would disband in 1943) to the independent Blenheim-Dumfries Farm Women's Club.

These two account books jointly cover the years 1941 to 1945. In one are yearly lists of revenues and expenditures for the club, in the other are lists of gifts made and purchased for the local needy.

Part of Blenheim-Dumfries Farm Women's Club

This series consists of hand and typewritten notes that detail the history of the Blenheim-Dumfries Farm Women's Club. These papers were written by members over the course of many years. Some of the papers deal with the years since the founding in 1920 to (what was then) present day, with another set picking up afterward, while later papers offer whole histories of the Club (generally drawing on the papers that were written earlier). In total (with some repetition between papers written by different hands), the history of the club from its beginning in 1920 to the Fiftieth Anniversary in 1970 are covered. This history includes how the club was created, the members of various boards, the nature and scope of their activities and what their members were getting up to.

Minute Books

Part of Blenheim-Dumfries Farm Women's Club

This series contains a set of minute books from the Blenheim-Dumfries Farm Women's Club meeting between 1920 and 1981. These minutes detail what happened at each meeting of the Club, including number of members present, elections to the executive, resolutions made by the members, monies raised by fundraiser, events and activities planned, entertainments had and other pieces of interest. The minute books generally have membership lists and financial records at the end of the book, showing revenues and expenditures for the years covered in that volume. The final volume has a history of the Club for the years 1970 to 1980. Though this volume is the latest one available, there is no indication that the Club was planning to disband, so the year of the club's dissolution (if any) is unclear. The series is arranged chronologically.
